Nice work on an athlon64, also 297fsb, thats killer work! most impressive overclock over your 2.6GHz you had with your old a64. This puts you in third place. I recon you might be able to make 2nd place with your cooling and overclocking skills :banana:

It was done with DX9 so there still are some improvements that can be made...

Fantastic job Macci.
This is sorta cool. 3 DIFFERENT CPU's in the top 3, and 2 of each in the top 6. I guess that means we have 3 decent CPU's to choose from. Well, we would have if Intel would get it in gear and put some on the shelves. And lower the price at least to the FX price point. And unlock the multis. Well, we have 2 and a half! That's better than usual anyway. It seems most of the time there is only one choice for CPU if you want a front page score. I like it that there are 4 different CPU's (last time I checked anyway) in the top 20. Unless Kamu's P4 is an EE and he just didn't state it. Anybody know for sure?

looking at macci´s and Opp´s score
it´s fair to assume that A64 with the upcoming nforce3 250 (full 800 ;)) with Opps XT clocks
30k or very , very close is quite possible ;) :slobber:

OPP broke 30K days ago. For a day or so he couldn't post it because the ORB wouldn't allow scores over 30K. Do a search on the 2K1 ORB with no criteria and check it out!:banana:

So I posted SKATAN the link to 30K instead of him looking for it like StormPC suggested.

Skatan means 30k for the AMD64 3200 is possible ie Macci's chip with the nf 250.
He knows Opp's broken 30k as his first line is :-
"looking at macci´s and Opp´s score"

Actually, to me it makes no sense, maybe its because Ive worked all day and had a busy sleep so sleep is needed as Im very tired but he does indeed says that as his first line but then contrinues to say that 30K is very close, when he says looking at maccis and OPPs scores maybe he m,eans the 29.7K score OPP had that is at the beginning of the 30K thread

Macci still has nearly 1k more to go for the big 30k though! hes gonna need to match opps video clocks and get his cpu over 3GHz with tight ram timings, not an easy feat!

Macci, did you try the Kingston HyperX 3000 with your AMD rig? Did the Mushkin black L2 just work better?

Well done, as always. Though it looks like with your uber cooling you could improve the score a bit... About + 1/30 part of score:) Good luck on chasing Opp!
BTW, are you gonna to try P4EE?

Sure it's possible, but by the time somebody hits 30K on an A64 what will OPP be up to on the FX?
After playing around with my FX I can tell you that it is significantly faster than the 3200+. Is it worth it? Depends on how much you value having state of the art hardware.;)
