It's possible to get my 256mb Rad 9200 to go, running with a barton at 2.5ghz watercooled and 233fsb (and climbing)
But this is my first radeon, my nvidia blew up last week and this is all i could get and afford to replace it, but it needs more speed.
As i said, this is my first taste of radeons, and i'm well and trully confused tbh, so could you kind bunch of peeps point me in the right direction (aiming at 10k in 01).
Instructions will be followed, and in a few months, you'll all be able to say to your mates "See him, i tought him, i did" ;)
lol.
Cheers for any help folks :)

my 128meg 9200 is overclocked protected by driver, that means when i set the clocks up with rivatuner for example, the driver will clock the card to stock as soon a 3d-app is started.
there is a workaround script for rivatuner for the cats 3.8, which in 3.9 doesnt work anymore.
i managed it with the 3.9 omegas, the got a built in overlock tab, which works also.
u got a 256meg? which brand and which rams are on the card?
my HIS 9200 got ESMT -5ns rams, they do around 215mhz (200 stock), 220 is possible too but with slight artifacts.
edit:
oh i forgot, with stock video clocks (250 / 200) you should reach around 7500 points i think, maybe 8000.

yea... about 8k sounds reasonable, especailly if you have more in the cpu. ;)

Had it up to 310 core/220mem, but the memory isn't happy at anything above 200 tbh, would memsinks help it out at all?
The core will do more once the passive heatsink is in the bin i would think, and my CPU is ALMOST maxed out, the memory, even running at 200mhz, is hot, hot enough tu burn my finger if i touch it
Initial runs are mid to low 8000's, 8318 3dmarks.
Any scope for imporvement?
*edit* oh aye, it's a sapphire card, but not 100% certain about the ram on it, they have a symbol on them, that is like 9 squares (bit like the windows logo with more squares) at the top left hand side of a circle, any ideas?
Codes on them are like this:
(symbol) 0328PR
V58C2256164SAT5
just in case they mean anything to anybody :)
Cheers folks
*2nd EDIT* Also, my card isn't a pro, it's stock clock speeds are only 200core/166mem :(

Ok, time to crack out the big bad ass noisey Deltas, turn up my radbox fans, and wind up all the OC's, I only need another 500points to be the highest scoring AMD based system on ORB for the 9200's :)
MY linky :) (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7284420)
Edit* ok, up to 2nd in the AMD systems table :)
only need another 200 odd points :)
