FOXCONN - A7DA-S 3.0 Can unlock Cores?
http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/Motherboards/detail_overview.aspx?ID=en-us0000444
I have a cpu that is Phenom X2 550 BE. I can unlock this cpu to x4 with gigabyte mobos perfectly.
But i want to buy FOXCONN - A7DA-S 3.0 and can it unlock closed cores as gigabyte does?
Thanks.

no, it is nothing compared to gigabyte when unlocking cores
i have a79a-s (790FX version) and could not unlock my 720BE my 790X-UD4P unlocks same processor no problem.

Thanks RhoXeD.
A question again.
DDR2 785g boards supports 2000/5200 fsb. A friend said me that ddr2 boards are slow so these mobos works 2000 fsb only? Is that true? I will use am3 cpu with ddr2 mobo so mobo will work 5200 or 2000 fsb?
So buying ddr3 is just unnecessary?

785G DDR2 boards support the same features as do the DDR3 boards except the obvious.

The A7DA-S 3.0 will unlock the BE 550 to an x4. I did it, and here's the boot recipe I used:
P03 BIOS (no longer on Foxconn site, so use rogue images at your own risk)
ACC "Auto"
HT 1600 MHz
CPU voltage +150mV (will try lower - dunno what's with CPU-Z in the photos - the voltage isn't that high)
After boot, use OverDrive to tweak up. I've tried mild overclocking (16.5x on CPU) but I haven't pushed it. It's stable on the AMD stability test for an hour.
P04 and P05 BIOS appear to have the ACC core unlock feature disabled. I haven't rigorously retried these because I am so ecstatic having a 3.1GHz quad core that I haven't redone all the flashing yet.
Actually, the A7DA-S wouldn't be my first choice for an unlocker/overclocker, but it is a rather nice stock AM3 board.
