In english, after putting the computer to sleep the system will not be using the correct processor speeds!

:ROTF:

Grab yourself a copy of HWM Blackbox 1.1.6 (http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/HWM-BlackBox.shtml) once you have open it up and record your speed per core, once completed put your system to sleep (S3 must be enabled in the bios where everything is off disk, fans etc) then give it 1 minute or so asleep then wake her back up. Open HWM-BB again and see what the speeds are, i have found this so in Windows-7 Version 6.1 Build 7600 i wouldn't mind to see others results.

Core 0: 4GHz | Core 1: 4GHz | Core 2: 2400MHz | Core 3: 2400MHz

Testing cores that "appear to be slower":

By setting the affinity of super-pi-mod xs 1.5 to each core i was able to prove that the cores were slower!

Give it a try and see your results.
Thanks all.

Yeh i was unsure of which one it may of been, this is kind of a pain because the EVGA 780i vanilla i dont think will have much more bios support due to p55/x58

I will do some more testing and playing around, i think you maybe onto something here with the BIOS cause obviously the BIOS is what is in control of the computer once the operating systems passes control to it to put the hardware to sleep and it also is in controll once the computer is brought back up. I will look at some of the settings and play around, see what i can find. I guess i will keep posted on what goes on. If anything has an overclocked system with a evga 780i vanilla board give this a try, i have the latest p08 bios :shakes:
