Hi everyone
I currently have the ASUS Rampage 2 Extreme motherboard and an Intel Core i7 920 D0 CPU, XFX HD4850XXX as well as 6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1600 RAM. Currently running dual monitors as well (T260 and P2250).
Now, when everything runs at stock settings (CPU at 2.66GHz and RAM at 1333MHz) then everything is smooth and dragging windows between the two monitors works without a hitch.
But once I overclock my CPU to 4GHz (1.275V VCore, 1.35V QPI/VTT, 200x20, HT on, RAM @ 1600MHz) the window animations are choppy when dragging windows between monitors. Perfectly stable (24 hours+ in Prime95). Running Windows 7 RC1 x64 by the way.
What should I change to have the same smooth experience at 4GHz? Any help would be appreciated.
