I was thinking about pulling out OS/2 warp 4 to throw on an AMD (or intel if that won't work) rig just to play around with some of the new stuff for the OS (firefox among other things).

Anyone doing this or know if there's some major compatibility issues?

I know that emulating OS/2 is fairly difficult, although microsofts virtual machine does a good job since it was originally an IBM/microsoft job, but I'd rather run it natively.

I've tried OS/2 Warp 4 on a "Semi-Current" machine but failed on driver issues, or the lack there of ;)
I did it mostly because I was a OS/2 Enthusiast when the 2.1 version came out and in those times I had drivers for my Soundblaster 16 and grafic card.
IBM had lot's of stuff at their FTP-site but I don't know about your driver sources?

I can say that I had better luck with Solaris 10 on modern PC...

Thanks.

I might have to actually scrounge up an old computer just to install it I guess. My experiences with it was always on a laptop, never a desktop.

I wanted to use warpzilla among other things:
