I used the R3603 and now I use the Primochill PRO LRT black. It is great tubing. I like it better than the Tygon as the Tygon seems to cloud no matter what you use. You can search some of the build logs for photos of the red version.

I'm thinking about retubing with the black (dark brown?) Pro LRT stuff too, so I don't have to deal with yellowing/cloudy tubing. Kind of curious to hear some impressions myself. I would go with 7/16" ID R3400 (black Tygon), except it only comes in 9/16" OD, which is no good since I use 5/8" OD compressions.

Your case is so overkill Honda. You have that massive rad that look intense with the GTs there, then the rest of the case just looks so bare.

I have the UV green in my system. Since my DFI motherboard is green, figured I'd use some green tubing to match.

Yeah I am using the black and it is pretty damn good. The walls are just a tiny fraction thinner then the Tygon with the 1/2" X 3/4". I can turn the BP fitting all the way when I could not on the Tygon.

okey warning..

if this is your first venture in h2o, then get cheap tubing.

Reason is your gonna tinker, and then tinker some more until u cant afford to tinker anymore.

Each time u tinker, generally u will need to get new tubing, because it will be difficult to recycle tubing.

This is why i recomend cheap masterkleer tubing the first time around.
Once u got past all the tinker stage, and your at the finalization stage, then get expensive tubing.

Otherwise ur gonna cry when u wasted 20 dollars in tubing for less then 2 weeks when u could of gotten cheapo masterkleer at 1/5th the price.

I don't find tubing that expensive really. Plus people like their rigs to look good all the time as well. I usually order 15 to 20 feet at a time for any tubing I order just to make sure I have enough to tinker with. If your tinkering all the time then yeah I would get the cheapest stuff around.

I'm from argentina, and tubing is more expensive to me, i paid 40 dollars 10 feet of tygon

Now im lookingo for a good and nice tubing for final stage. Right now im modding my cosmos s. When i finish it, i will post a worklog with all the stages

Buying stuff from here is really expensive, everything cost me 50% to 80% extra :shakes:

So, im looking for good stuff, i actually read all stickys and worklogs.

With all that knowleage i build my first stage, thats works really awsome. Now i have here almost everything i need to build the final stage, some fittings left to buy only.

Little by little im getting close to the goal.

Thats because im looking for the right tubing. Im between black and red.

Red is awsome, my case will be paint with black powder coat and some details will be chromeplated, so red tubing will be great, but, i have 2 red cc. Because of the 2 red cc is why im considering the black tubing

Naekuh does have a point, I broke my loop down and changed it 2 weeks after having it together. The problem is, I don't think you truly ever move out of the tinkering stage. As new CPUs and GPUs come out, you want to upgrade. Also with watercooling components.

Just order some extra so you have some to play with.

Thats the truth, the tinkering stage is always there :yepp:

i have the primoflex lrt tubing 3/8" black and i can say it is true that you can bend it at 2" radius, but 2" lesser would kink it. the good thing about their tubes is that they don't have the brand names all over the tubings like tygon.

Question is though, when do you move past the tinkering stage into the finalization stage? ;)

I've been watercooling now for over 4 years and haven't stopped tinkering yet. Tinkering is the whole point.

i need to try this tubing out. In my current setup, I used black XSPC tubing from Jab-tech and am so far very pleased with it.

my budget rules dont apply to me.

Infact my computers have no sense of this word called "budget"

I can say pretty confidentially on that there are a very few people on this forum that has gone though more tubing then i have.
The best ive played with is Primochill. After that its Fesser.

Fesser has nicer colors, and its softer on the outside. Fesser more like feels like tygon.
The primochill feels a bit stiffer, but bends better. I know it sounds funny but it does.

Problem with Primochill is that it only comes in like 4 colors while fesser has like 9+.

Both brands have some clouding resistance. My tubes are still clear after 6 months.
On the primochill however its impossible to see if it is clouded, so even if it did, it wont bother you.
The fesser is also still clear, which is why i recomend it. Its great tubing if u need the colors they offer.

on my last build i used both fesser and primochill, and i highly recomend both brands.

U can see the primochill on the left and fesser on the right:

Heres a Red Primo next to fesser clear blue UV. See the fesser is older then the red primo, and its still clear :D

Lol that last picture, the red tubing seems a bit orange.

Its like that?

Honda's red primo looks like more intense red to me.

I've also heard *** cough, cough **** that your computers have never heard the words "finished build."

(*** goes back on vacation ***) ;)

Naekuh does make a good point - especially if tubing is expensive where you live, it's good to start with something inexpensive - then cut the more expensive tubing to size when you've got your loops figured out.

im notorious for having one of the nicest computers, but also having the worst photography skills on the forum.
So like the other three, above, blame my picture skills, most likely its how poorly i took the picture..
Oh im also the laziest, in never fully finishing anything i start.

Heres a better red for you tho:

I use the tubing, i currently have 3/8" tubing, but am jumping up to 1/2" in order to incorporate my bloodrage northbridge block, absolutely love it though! first build too!

Thanks really Nae for the pics!

I'll go for primochill next time, its almost sure.

Its very dust-magnet? or its similar to tygon in that aspect?

I dont know if i'll buy black or red one
