Currently i´m using p5b deluxe mobo and want to switch to some x58. On P5B i have 2 disks in raid0 is it possible to move that raid to ich10r without loss of data? Thanks in advance!

The current driver is for 7-10, so it is likely. I would update the driver to the latest one first.

I know I have personally moved from 9 to 10, hopefully some others will chime in for you though to be sure. I used to know where a chart was about this at Intel's site, but sorry I can't find it now

Several weeks ago I upgraded from C2 Q6600 / Asus P5B Deluxe to i7 920 / MSI X58 Pro-E. I had 2x150GB WD Raptors as RAID0 and 2x1000GB Samsung F1 as RAID1 on the ICH8R controller. Both arrays still worked and bootable, but later I reinstalled the OS to have a fresh start.

Yep.

Should be fine, as everyone has said, just install the latest drivers (if it is an OS drive) before you move.

The only problem is ACHI mode but there are some good quides for enabling ACHI without a reinstall on google or here ;)
