What is going on guys?

Well I already maxed out my system on only water. I was able to get the CPU to 3.9 on water and the 9800 PRO to 465/375. I got a 22k score on 3dmark2001 and a little shy from 7k on 3dmark03.
So like a good overclocker I must on to better things

Here is my plan.

1. I am keeping my 3.2c CPU
2. I am getting rid of my 2 stick of 512 Mushkin PC3500 Level 2 and replacing them with the same but 2 sticks of 256. (Better for benching)
3. I am getting rid of all my water cooling hardware using now.
4. I am keeping the Abit IC7 Max 3

now for the good stuff

1. I am cooling the CPU with a Vapochill XE shooting for 4.2
2. I am getting the Radeon9800 XT and doind the Vmodd to it. I am cooling that card with the Maze4-1 with the 80w Pelt.
3. I am using the BLack Ice Xtreme the one that is the size of 1 120mm Fan and I am using the Eheim 1250 this time OR I can keep using the 1260 but to me it is very big and I like mines to be internal.
I am using 1/2 tygon tubing like it should be to prevent kinks.
4. I am getting the Vantec 520W PSU (Hopefully it can support the Vapo XE and the 80w Pelt what do you guys think?)

and for my important question the "NB"

I have the Z-chip but am not sure if I should use it. The GPU is going to have the 80w pelt on it so it will make the water warmer (HOW MUCH WARMER?) I am not going to put a pelt in the NB so how bad will it be if I add the Z-chip for my NB to my setup. Lets say the NB runs at 45c using the stock heatsink. What will it run with the Z-chip keeping in myind there is 80w pelt in the flow.

The reasons I want to add the Z-chip is because I dont want to hear the fan and it would looks cool. also how bad will it be because I will have to add 2 lines to the setup making it more tubing. What do you guys recommend?

The Black ice pro should be able to cool the water back down close to ambient with a setup like you described. I would make sure that the fan is pulling air throug the rad and the flow config is comming straight from the rad into the NB then onto the VGA, then pump and then Rad...

I know you wan't to add the Z-Chipset Block to your Northbridge to cut down nosie but I was under the impression that due to the manufacturing process these Intel Northbridge chipsets dont really need more than air cooling anyway. Maybe you could use a larger heatsink or bigger fan (bigger fan because it can push more air at a slower speed than a smaller fan.) Unless anyone disagrees here with me?

Im sorry but I cannot help you with your other questions but I hope this helps :) Welcome to Xtreme Systems!

no, Water chipset cooling simply isnt worth it. Just get a 40mm fan and epoxy it to your passive heatsink.

I wouldn't go with that vantec psu. I'd go with an antec true control 550 for the money.

Second, you might as well get the Z-chip, you'll be getting insane flow through the system with just those 2 blocks, and either of those pumps.

Well I decided to go with a dual phase change the NB will stay the same

A pelt on a nb is overkill
Water onma nb is near overkill
but hey we're using osmetihng way mreo extreme then air so then go for it.
