Has anyone with this board ever tried to boot and failed, receiving "LOCKED" on the LCD Poster? When this happens, the next time it does successfully boot I get the overclock failed message, then I'm prompted to press F1 to enter the BIOS. All my BIOS settings are still there, I just press F10 to save and exit, but this "LOCKED" message is random.

BIOS 0904 fixed my cold boot problem, but are you sure your OC is stable?

Here´s what Horgas over at Asus forum (http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=20090212090306581&board_id=1&model=Rampage+II+Extreme&page=1&SLanguage=en-us) have to say about "LOCKED".

Quote from Asus forum

"LOCKED is a normal state during the boot init cycle. However, getting stuck at LOCKED and not moving past it is not normal. Usually if you are stuck at LOCKED it will be one of three things...

1. Your QPI is too high, usually happens if QPI is 4GHz+ (i.e., 8000MT/s+). Maximum QPI for current Core i7 chips is 4GHz. Some are lucky and can run a bit higher than this, but in 99.99% of cases 4GHz is max.
2. Your Uncore is too high and/or not enough voltage to run the given Uncore speed.
3. Your BCLK is too high (closely related to QPI and indeed is QPI limited)."

Hope it can help you some.

Well I'm in the final stages of stabilizing it, it'll run Prime95 for two hours just fine, and LinX 10 passes just fine (maximum memory).

Much appreciated, I'll try correcting some of the items above, hopefully that will help the situation.
