at the moment im trying to decide between this:

and this:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-017-PA

its hard to decide as they are very similar. the vipers are cheaper but i haven't seen many people using them.

am i better off spending a little more for the dominators?

btw this will be going on a EVGA x58 classified (i made my mind up to get that lol)

if anyone has other suggestions feel free to tell me!

Thanks

I'll go with the Dominator as I just ordered a 6GB kit for my Classified. I believe its OC potential is better than the Patriot counterparts, it's always a great choice when comes to good memory for core i7. Btw make sure you check the other Dominator set with tighter timing (7-7-7-20) since there might not be a big difference in price.

I've had both sets you're looking at. No complaints about either and neither compromised my i7 920's overclocking ability at all. Don't think you can really go wrong with either. I'm currently using the Dominator set....simply because the Corsair's were on huge sale and I just trust their RMA more than Patriot's. (There is more to a product than how it works, like how you're treated by the company if you have a problem, and Corsair is impeccable in that regard.)
