I had a chance to break out the Kryotech I purchased on ebay fo $138 (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=175483) to show it off with the new Lynnfield processor in LA. I cannot post screen shots yet but I can show you the setup I had running.

Running at -50c all day, no this unit take about 4 seconds to reach sub zero from ambiant and about 10 seconds to reach max temp.

Much to my surprise it was brand new condition never used, it arrived in working condition.

On the display you see three green buttons, they control the temp in one degree increments, it holds -50c with R507 steady with about a 2c drop under load.

Solenoid and relay block the gas flow to pulse the refrigerant steadily so it maintains the desired temp all the way to -1c

The tandem should do more than 300w, I dont have a good guesstimate yet.

Very nice price.

I've been staring at the mobo in the OP for about three minutes now and I think I'm going mad - is it just me or does that thing have seven DIMM slots? In the third pic, from the bottom, two blue, two white, another two blue, and then what looks like the latching lock for another white?

It is loud ?

If it gets converted, it will be to a dual head for the Skulltrail. The compressors are very nice and quiet.

^^ From the other thread linked in first post.
