Hi. My brother is looking into buying this laptop http://www.jr.com/msi-microstar/pe/MSR_U120024US/#productTabAccessories

It is small and specifications are good for the price. It's for college and only college. No games just school work on this laptop. He won't be doing design stuff since he's studying law so again just for school work is this laptop good enough?

The only thing I'm concerned about is the processor. Is it sufficient for the above requirements?

P.S. I wasn't sure where to post this. Feel free to move this to its proper place.

That would be plenty for the typical MS Office suite and standard applications and internet. It's actually perfect for it, especially if he has a monitor to use for when he is at home so he can use that instead of the small screen for long study sessions. As far as going with that specific model, I don't know. I do not have first hand experience with the MSI netbooks. I know the Asus models are good, and they have one that has a battery that lasts like 8-9 hours.
