If someone is wondeing, who is the person that takes the first place in R9600 category,FX5200,FX5700Ultra,FX5600Ultra.
It's HardwareBG.com 3D Mark 2001SE Team.
The team is bulgarian and it's been establish before a week ago.
As you can see,all of the results that this team is publish is in the top 3 of category.
COmexGroup.com 3D Mark Team is aslo bulgarian team.
I think that the results which this teams are showing is amazing, because in Bulgaria, peoples are very poor.
I read in HardwareBG.com forums that this boys will atack the first place in R9700 category and FX5800 and others.
For now this team is second in FX9950 category.
As you know the several first places that HardwareBG.com 3D Mark Team take is been before a XS place.
I say that HardwareBg.com steal the first place in different category

I thought you were part of 3dmaxx Jason :p: :D
Secondly we do bench those POS cards ya cheeky bugger :), in fact I held the 5600U and 5700U records before both Bulgarian teams decided they were going to beat up on zakelwe and take both his records.
Why me ?
If hardware.bg is going to take the 5600U record then they will have to beat up the other Bulgarian team ( ComExGroup ) of which TodB is a member ( he is mollov ) and Finwe in particular .. I bet there is some inter team rivalry there :) .
Vutov, in regards to the 5700U record you are only 700 points ahead and using an AMD64 at 2411Mhz against my P4, so I would say keep it nice and warm for me until I get my AMD64 setup back ;)

Indeed :)
Go on bowman, if XS just concentrates on the top class then other teams will nibble away at our soft underbellies like vultures at the mighty majestic elephant.
the 5200 record was Opp's record, I wonder if he still has the card and could put it in his FX51 rig ? Maybe he is busy with other things at present ? :)

well while my a64 is down..i thought about playing with my nf7 rig maybe this weekend.i have a new 2600 barton i wanted to try.
and if it does well i may start out with a 9700pro on a 510 core.then move to a 9800 594 core,and then stick in a 9800xt 600 core...just to pass some time...what you think?:D
all on the older amd chip....
i could i guess slap in a p4 running 4.3g and bench those too.
o well not enough time anymore...:(
maybe i will play some....
but we welcome all who wish to challenge xtreme :D
The bad thing is they're littering the results with several published test. That's in bad taste in my book.

Well boys, I will be benching in the lower classes for sure.
I no longer have the horsepower or a 9800XT to be in the top ten any longer, but that won't stop my future benching in the Ti4200 class nor my soon entrance into the ATI 9600 classes.(maybe some others too)

I know your style Jason I was posting with a smile on my lips at your retort :)
Actually the 5700U is pretty good actually, I think I can get beat the Bulgarians with a score of 19200 this weekend if all goes to plan. There's not too many GF4's that can do that with stock volts and cooling ....
My AMD64 motherboard is returning tomorrow. I spilt beer on it and it gave a LED 90 error which meant UGURU / BIOS failure, but when they tested it it was Ok, so maybe the beer dried out or maybe the AMD64 / memory has an issue now :(

Randi,
Nice to see you back.
As I said above the 5700U is a very good chip and with your cooling and volt modding skills you should be able to get a great score. My Gainward does 600/1070 at a pinch, all stock.
Hey guys, take it as a challenge not as a snub. I've been on their forums the last couple of days since they beat my scores and although it is DES encrypted ( or a foreign language ) they seem to rate us very highly, well highly enough to set their sights high.
I think I'll buy a 5200 FX card ..anyone know which ones have 4ns memory and which have 5ns, could make all the difference.
4ns, that seems so slow.

even though 30k has been broken, its still interesting to bench with lower cards. the 23k mark has been held forever on a 9700 pro, also 15k, even 16k could be broken on a ti500 with a nice athlon 64 or fx rig

Yeah, but that's the very first thought which comes in one's mind when he see such post in his (in which he's a part of the 3D MARK team ) forum...
And I don't think, that Vutov's post is Challenging.... "XS 3D MARK team go down" - very challenging..... my arse!

I have to say there is a marked contrast between Finwe on ComExGroup.com and hardware.bg.
When saying I found it hard to talk to finwe on the ComEx forums due to the language he replied :-
"sorry i did think about this, sorry once again, my ICQ is XXXXXXXX if u would like to keep in touch with me i would be very pleased. about the the points which i have got i can answer u only one think, there is nothing forever, i'm gonna try to optimize it more =)))),
i wish u a nice day tomorrow =). "
Which sums it up nicely :) indeed nothing is forever. Very nice PM I thought to someone he beat.
Rather than just post here I have purchased a 5200 today to see if I can give hardware.bg a run in the 5200 class. I think it has 4ns memory from Samsung so that should be OK.
I will try to get 5200 and 5700U classes back this weekend, but it is in the lap of the gods of course :D
To be continued ....

Yes, that's the idea
I'm getting the feeling XS members at the very top have lost sight why they do this in the first place, and that's because it is fun and competitive, doesn't matter what hardware you are overclocking as long as you are all on the same playing field.
This is exactly the reason why other teams who are having fun can get #1 spot in the lower rankings without even being recognised by this esteemed team.
And don't forget that Bulgaria has a lot less income per household at present and no doubt has difficulty getting the latest kit because of that.
Right, I'll get off my soapbox now and continue to support xtremesystems in the "POS" lower classes

Gentleman, Gentleman:)
When DDTUNG and I concieved this Team concept at Icrontic it was always envisioned as a "run what you brung" type of competitive benching atmosphere, very much like bracket racing in the drag racing circles, everyone has a chance in their own class.
Not everyone has the resources, the technology or the $ to run at the top, but it is indeed just as much fun in all the videocard classes. I have topped the ORB in times past myself but as many of our members realize with the cost of the latest hardware the average guy cannot attain that level. But with a Ti4200, a 9600 class card or even 7000 class card anyone with a little ingenuity and a good running system can be competitive with others with like systems.
THAT is what it is all about my friends
What OPP and FUGGER, macci, JCViggen,Charlie , Bowman and the other Top10 benchers are attaining is truly a feat and outstanding accomplishment and the Kudo's flow heavy and are well deserved to all of them !!:toast:
I've been there and done that a few times myself:D
But please do not ever lose sight of the accomplishments and fun enjoyed by the lower classes of videocard benchers, there are many good things and incredible scores being attained by some great benchers in there own right: witness mikem blowing away my longstanding 19,300 score in the Ti4200 class with a 21,000+ score on his A64....that is just phenomenal indeed !
This Team is comprised of a vast and diverse group of individuals who are driven by excellence in what they do. Lets soldier on in this drive to excellence and set aside this talk about the "POS card classes et al" There is greatness from top to bottom within the Xtreme Team my friends:thumbsup:
Your Team Captain,

Speaking of sub 1Ghz, I had a play on A64 at sub 1Ghz without mods and hit 14,436 a couple weeks or so ago(stock 9800 Pro). How about you and I go on a drive for 20,000 running at 1ghz or less??

I'm the one who started all this - Vutov has nothing to do with our Team (he is a member of our forum, not the team) and TodB (or Mollov if u like) is our competitor. Sorry if my soapbox speech was a bit melodramatic, I live just down the road from where Winston Churchill used to live and it got a bit too much for me. My danda was up as we say in England.
As Randi said there's some great fun to be had in the lower classes and it'd be fun seeing what a little card can do in a big rig if all the top guys decided to have a busmans holiday.

I'm running through the 52.16 drivers at present before going to the 44.03's which show marked improvement in drag low and nature, but poor other games, however they are still better than 52.16.

Guys,
I`m one of hardwareBG.com owners, and I want to clear two things:
1. hardware.bg is newspaper. They translate some articles from west sites and we feel hurt when you make this little mistake.....
2. We are hardwareBG.com - pure, natural Bulgarian hardware site. 101% hardware entusiasts!
About Vutov`s challenge:
Vutov have right to write his own opinion. Everybody want to be No. 1, but in Bulgaria it`s very hard to beat somebody from west countries.
The "main battle" is between Mollov ( TodB ) and my team. He is our competitor - in 3Dmark, In popularity, in articles!
I realy think that we can beat you ( XS Team ), but we must invest a lot of money ... But money for games like this in BG is very hard to find. The other problem is quality hardware.... TodB and hardwareBG.com use samples from main hardware suppliers. I don`t have big chance to beat some of U with my own Sapphire Radeon 9700...... :)
zakelwe,
U must try harder with 5700 Ultra... Tommorow we`ll beat your score :) :)
p.s.
Only for statistic:
Only in this forum there at least 10 people with Vapo, Prometea or some harder... In BG we have only 1 Vapo ( TodB ) and one custom build vapor cooling ( our ).
Money is the main "wall" between hardwareBG.com and first places in 3Dmark scores.....

In that "sport" nobody complains about what he have or don't have - you either can do it or you can't.... it's either way.... OPP has the ability to have some of the top parts around - he's the ONE right now...
In this game If you want to compete you'll find the way - If you can't - it's your own damn problem. Period.

zakelwe,
Where are U from ?
We don`t use vapor for this bench... it`s made for P4 PCU, and these days we must fix it for AMD.
For 3Dmark scores we use only few fans.. delta black label is good but veeery noisy....
I don`t want to use vapor with 500$ VGA card .....:)
Our main purpose is comexgroup.com ( TodB ).... OPP and you guys are extra gifts :) If we can beat U - thats cool, if we cant - OK, it`s not a big problem... at least were try....
Interesting:
2 min ago Geniusloci remove the heat sinc from GB 5950 Ultra.... the label "5950" was extra painted... I think that this "new" NV chip si very big fake.... The old 5900 with new label.... and it`s not very good for clock.... 540 core max stable...

Does mollov keep beating you ? LOL :D He is a long time XS visitor so I wish him all the best against hardwarebg :D

Do U plain to come in BG again ?

I had to have my windows open too to get a 1GHz Overclock on my 1700+, its -2*C this morning, hope it goes down to about -5*C tonight so I can have some more fun :D

Yes Borovec ! We had some really good snow while I was there and it was a great holiday.
I might go to Bulgaria again some time but not for skiing, I broke my back on a motorbike so with my dodgy legs I would just be able to turn one way and end up in Romania.

Hi Craig,
Nice overclock :toast:
I think it's going to go warmer. I actually feel quite ill this morning for being 4 hours at -1C sat there in my study in my fibre pile.
My hands are shaking and my cheeks are burning. These XS people with phase change sitting there in their nice warm apartments don;t know how lucky they are:p:
oh if only I could get a couple !
Regards
Andy
