Is it possible that people have W7 retail keys already? Or is it some kind of scam?
I've seen these for sale, including on eBay, so I'm wondering where people got retail keys from already...

its a scam ! no one would have them yet . loadz of people on ebay try selling fake keys for money :mad:

Unless they are selling them and sending keys on release, which is just odd...
EDIT: or technet / msdn which is illegal

So the technet/msdn keys can't be transferred or won't work as retail keys? Or they can but it's illegal?

If I had a technet account, I'd get keys which would work. Selling them is illegal though, although Microsoft wouldn't know, it is against the EULA iirc.
