1.) OPPainter - 29723
2.) Fugger - 29391
3.) Charlie - 28773
4.) bowman1964 - 28715
5.) Shamino/LardArse - 28617

Lets see who'll hit the 30k mark first!

JCviggen should be in 3rd place anytime as soon as the orb database updates again, he broke 29k also!

I'm a little disappointed actually....
After 6 hours away from XS I thought Opp would already HAVE 30K...

I think it was mentioned in another thread but his 29.3k score didnt count due to 3dm not detecting his cpu speed correctly. With a screenie and his reputation though it was legit.

not neccessarily, depends on how long it takes for you to setup your cooling and how far it overclocks. you probably have a week at least

wow I just noticed that now! actually all he has to do is re-run the benchmark, reboot, rerun, reboot. the margin of error is easily within his reach seeing it could be give or take like 100 marks! Oh by the way his cpu is soooooo close to 3GHz, just 1 more MHz on the fsb will be 3GHz :slobber:

Easier said than done man :)

Also I'm quite sure he doesnt just run the whole test straight through. Nobody who wants a respectable score does that.

well ladies and gentlemen here we are at the meeting of the year .
what we have lined up is a fantastic shootout between some of the fastest 3d guns in the world
the task ,, not an easy one is 30k 3dmark 2k1 pts
3.....2.....1 go
unbeleivable fugger is storming ive never seen a lead like that opened up at the top of the orb before .. hes pulling further away ..hows he doing it ... the pack is following .. oppainter is making a comeback hes closing in fast ,,has oppainter given his all he just cant seem to overtake fugger ,,, bowman is moving in looking real strong too will he take the lead ? .. and here comes Charlie ... were getting a real contest now ladies and gentlemen ,,, were less than a 1000pts from the finish line now ... whos got what left after the awsome efforts theve displayed already ...oppainter can see the finish line and makes a dash for it he takes the lead and is pulling away .. fuggers not responding to the challenge .... oppainter eases down and passes the line .. the winner is OPPAINTER CONGRATULATIONS ON THE FIRST 30K RUN IN 3D MARK 2K1 :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :slobber: :slobber: :thumbsup: :worship: :worship:

yup, jsut seen this from another forum link. Well done my man. Dang, last one i did was jsut over 20k , was benching what i coudl get with stock everything. Need to get my volt mod's done so i can get at least within 5 k, so i don't feel so bad about myself :p

Freaking hell though, 30k so quick. Opp, well, okay, so new thread, race to 40k???
