My fsb is at 280 and my motherboard has raised the mch voltage from 1.1v to 1.2v. It's on auto setting. Should I let it do that?

You can test it at 1.1 if you force that setting manually. Normally 1.2 is no problem , if you go higher FSB wise and it goes over 1.3 better start actively cooling the NB chipset ( never hurts )
