I just completed my 1st work unit today on a GTX260 and am work on another one. It took about 137 hours. Got 74,981 points for in. I am trying to get a work unit for a Q6600 the past day but have not got one. I think it may take less time on a Q6600.

To be doing it I'd have to have some WU given... I'm attached though (ever since it was Vault'ed), but just get endless "project has no jobs available". You know times are tuff when even my computer can't get a part-time volunteer job! I have it set to allow both CPU & GPU. No dice. I don't think this project was/is ready for primetime.

They have work now. Looks like may be able to do about 100,000 points per day on a Q6600. Each work unit takes about 2 to 3 hours to run. Each work unit does start multiple threads so CPU time wouuld be 8 to 12 hours. Get around 6000 per WU. They increased the point value 3x yesterday.

I am no longer runing on CUDA. Unless they changed something it does not perform well. My last WU took about 145 hours and I got about 50,000 for it.

Same here. When it did give me work, it only gave me CUDA work, never CPU. Those GPU WUs were silly long.

For curiosity's sake I'll see if my little Vista rig (no vid card) can get any CPU WUs. But this project is private data for their own profit, so no humanitarianism applies. Wife has a bun in the oven, so it's another reason for me to concentrate on medical projects instead of pure Vault racing.

For the time being they are not sending out CUDA work. I did try to do one a few days ok, but they kept failing for me.

The credits have also been reduced. On an AMD Phenom 9600 doing a 160-6M work unit I got 13387 points. CPU time was about 116 hours. It used 4 threads so elasped time was about 29 hours. On a per core bases it come to about 2700 points per day.

I had a go at Aqua. Longish GPU Wu's (1.5hours IIRC on a 8800GTX). They were giving out CUDA up until a couple days ago.

Just finished a 160-6M WU on a Q6600. Elapsed time with 4 threads was 12 hours 51 minutes. Got 11384 points for it.

I will probably only run a WU on this every once in awhile.
