Hokay, it's time to start trying to track me down a nice 2.4C, it's payday you see. :D

The main problem is, I'm not sure what I'm looking for, so I need a bit of help.

What steppings should I be on the look out for to pick up a decent chip, are there any in particular?

And how would I identify one of the fabled "M0" chips if I found one? It's unlikely, but I may as well try. :D

Don't get too excited though, I've tested two of them (from a different supplier) and I've got a handfull of WF's that do much better..........

Well, I have a BX80532PG400DSL6W Q322AO8O on the way, apparently it should be a pretty good chip, fingers crossed. :D

Thanks for the link though d00d, but I'm stuck in Britland, so my choices are rather limited. :mad:

st0nedpenguin I thought Q in the FPO Batch code made it a Costa Rica, not a Malay ???

It's all double dutch to me, but I have it on good authority it's a malay, both the retailer and Liquid3D seem pretty sure it is, and it better be, as that's why I ordered it, if it's not, I'm gonna call the store back and open a can.

I had two SL6WR Malay's. :) Both of them did 4 GHz on my Prometeia but performance was bad because my memory couldn't handle it. :(

Well, I'm a lurker from hell, I just don't post that much anymore...

I've been hanging around looking for a 2.4C M0, and I got one from ZipZoomFly...

My regular hangout is still Kewjoes...

Now I'm off to do the Vdimm mod on my IC7 I need more juice for my memory....wish me luck!!!:D

BTW, Vdimm mod was a success....I lapped my northbridge heatsink too (Thermaltake Tiger)...had a real crappy base....

I'll see how high she goes now, and keep y'all informed...

yeah peng good luck man hope you get what your looking for. i bought my P4C 2.4C a while back and i got lucky i scored a L310A677 thats a MALAY WEEK 10 CPU alot of peeps looking for those.....

You get what you pay for....if you take the thermal pad off the bottom of the Tiger to use Artic Silver, you have to lap it.....The Swiftech has a mirror finsh already...

I bought 10 of the tigers, for .99 cents each, when Xoxide had them for their deal of the day. Planning epoxying them as ramsinks for my vid card!!!!

just kidding!!!!

I just got 3 2.6 SLW6S malays, they are all the same steppings, Same week and day. 10/19/.3 So going by steppings all of them should clock the same.

How much does anyone wanna bet they dont??

My 2.6C (iirc SL6WS) Q-Code does about 3.2 GHz at 1.675V with watercooling...
Well, at least it's silent and fast enough for what I do with it. I don't think I should try to compare 3DMark or SuperPi scores here, huh? :D:banana:
