Im getting some memory tomorrow and I wanna know if i'd just be wasting money of i get the PC4200 kit. My 2.4c overclocks upto 3.4ghz right now. can you guys give me a percentage on how much better would a 2.4c at [12x280 1:1] perform than at [12x287 5:4].
the memory im getting is either
OCZ PC4200-EL = CL 2.5-4-4-7
or both 2x256mb dual channel kits.
OCZ PC3200-EL Platinum = CL 2-2-3-5 1T

I totally agree. 5:4 is much better, but will the 4200 even do 2226

4200 even do 2226
no it wont not even @ stock 400ddr. I bounce back and forth tween my bh5 kingston and the 4200 i have. I actually score and do better @ 5:4 with my kingston.
4200 1:1 is for a 2.4-2.6 chip. Bought it to try and and a great price i got it for.
it all depends on the timings!!!!
