View Full Version : Where can I get single sided sticky closed cell foam?

I need some single sided sticky closed cell foam/neoprene for my 172w pelt 9800 project. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I did find some neoprene squares on the DangerDen site but it doesnt' have any adhesive on it. Or....is there a better method. Right now I am using the little square of single sided sticky foam that came with my MCW50-T. I would like to get some more but I don't know where.

The best and the most cost effective imethod is to buy the right type of neoprene for your use and some thin (not fibre reinforced) double sided sticky tape.

Home Depot has it 2 inches wide and 30 ft long 1/8th in. thick for $8 in the plumbing department...

ya home depot has the perfect stuff but its round so u will have to strap it on with tape or zip ties or whatever u can think off i got plenty of it;)

Nah Pimp, this stuff is a roll of thin rubber 1/8th inch thick ,your thinking of the pipe insulation which is great for chiller lines but this stuff you can cut and layer your own cpu and gpu socket

I went to Home depot today but I couldn't find the stuff you were talking about. I have to go back on Friday so I'll look again...maybe even ask some one.

Picked me up a 30'x2" roll of "AP/Armaflex" at Home Depot today for $4.95! They didn't have the stuff you got nitro. But this is the same product but by a different manufacture. Thanks for the info, this stuff will come in very handy for insulating my 9800 XT from the 172w TEC.
