hi all...today I got new extreme memory Cell Shock PC2-8000 CL4, but they have maybe problem with Commando...last week I tested Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 CL5 and it won't go on frequency above 1200MHz...I thought Commando doesn't like Crucials, but today I have the same problem with Cell Shocks...last stable frequency is 1190MHz with 2.5V and 5-5-5-15 timing...do you know, what is the problem? thanks for help Blue Storm

Maybe a possible BIOS problem? Try different BIOS's and see if that changes things. I have the same 8000 C4's and they only need 1.97v for 600 MHz stable, and crucials are excellent too, both kits will do well over 600 MHz. If it's not BIOS, perhaps its the vNB limiting you? My old P965 struggled to go over ~620 MHz stable with ~1.43 vNB.

I can try more NB voltage, thanks...BIOS ins't problem...I had 1801 and now I have 1901 and no change...I will try set more vNB and I will see...what is maximum recomending voltage for Intel P965 northbridge?
