I have two 9800GTX+'s running with a volt mod and just got my hands on a cheap third. I will be watercooling all three and volt modding them. What kind of powersupply would I need to run at ~900 core with 1.45-1.55V?
850w at least. Corsair HX850, PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 860w, other high-quality 850w or higher PSUs should all be able to handle that load.

There is a reason the 9800GTX+'s have 2 SLI fingers... :p:
And back in their day, those WERE the "big cards".

Something wrong with your cards. Anyone have a wattage load on these things when overvolted?

I'd say a bunch of three OC'ed 9800GTX+ alone draw somewhere around 450-500W. Add to that rest of the system (200-250W) and the compulsory safety margin, you'd want to look for 850W units at minimum.
