I did the vdimm volt mod on my board with 2 sticks of PC3500 Mushkin blk lvl 2 256mb sticks. Since then i upgraded to 2x 512mb sticks of the same Mushkin.

When i first had the mod done with the 2x 256mb sticks i was getting 3.2v, when i went to remeasure what i was getting with the 2x 512mb sticks in i was getting 3.1v, would the 512mb sticks cause the loss of .1v in vdimm?

i did try the 2x 256mb sticks again and it was still 3.1v, what happened to my .1v?

well i just redid the mod and now i'm getting 3.16v, so i guess .03v under what i was getting before isn't that bad

Well you are doubling the chips thus doubling the power requirements of the memory slots. It needs more voltage to power all that memory. Its not unusual to see vdimm drop under load, especially when you go to using 4 dimms.

What is the reading on your 3.3V line in bios...(3.3V line value) -(.05V) seems to be the limit of the vmem mod. I have an adjustable 3.3line on my PSU so I can get 3.2 to 3.9 on my mem.
