set ldt to 3x instead of 2.5 or 2 ...

whats the vdimm? maybe the memory cant run above 220 with 2.6v or whatever it gets? or its the chipset? need better cooling? did you try other multis?

set the ltd to 2x. Also setting vcore to 1.7 does nothing. it always defaults to 1.5.

there is no ldt on via based boards. if you're running a s-ata drive switch to ide. download clockgen which will lower your cpu multiplier within windows allowing you to at least test if the cpu is the limit. use the display control panel to force agp 4x mode in case your graphics card is falling over.

Sure there is, my Abit KV8 has settings for 200, 400, 600 and 800 (which are just names on the multipliers). Some boards may (correctly) call it Hypertransport Bus.

On the Asus K8V-Delux it is called Hypertransport.
