hopefully I can unlock some of them for added cache and multi adjustment. Knowing my luck they will all be A versions and locked :( and won't oc 1mhz run 85C and implode 3 seconds after warranty expires

Anyway, the AN7 should be here thursday or friday as excal was offereing free upgrade to 2nd day air :)

This weekend should be very fun if the oc gods are with me and I get some modable cores :)

so I try to keep it at 2 now :O

Those little durons are nice chips, I've got one of em 1400 MIXIBs doing over 2.5GHz at 1.93V +30C water (CPU temp +63C) - full 256k cache on of course :)

well I got hosed tommy
my 2 thortons are locked week 41 chips
and my Duron although being a week 34 B rev chip is both LOCKED and cache mod won't work. I have been stung by the bad luck of overclocking and haven't had a descent bit of luck in months regarding cpus. Both my 2.8c's wouldn't do over 3.2. My 2.4C is good but doesn't go higher on water---go figure. And my bartons have either been turds or locked.

Maybe I will go buy a compaq and quit this crapola

Look all over for my conductive paint. But im loading windows on a new board on one of them. Not modded yet,

Chips are multi locked, Using a Newegg Refurb, Leadtek K7NCR18D board, $49 bucks. Loading windows on it @ 160fsb or 2400mhz.

Plan for 2 of these chips is the two best one's are going in my duallie AMD rig, currently 2 xp1700's @ 2250mhz each.

Hopefully going to be able to enable the 512 cache, and get 2500 each out of them. Max Volts on my asus 266-d is 1.87V. No mult adjustments on the board , just all fsb.

But since it's my Server/storage/Tivo/Divx/F@H rig, I just like all multiplier, hopefully this thing will Vpin mod after unlocking.
