I know this is almost a DEFINITE NO! However I thought I'd inquire in case someone might know of a possibility.

Is there a such thing as a USB hub that can handle about 8 HEAVY periphals, such as Nvidia's 3D vision, Logitech G19, Razer Mamba, Logitech G13, etc., all into one hub?

The purpose of this is to easily interchange between two towers, however I don't think there is a such item that can handle the power these peripherals consume.

Most LCD monitors that have a USB hub can support all that.

Also, there is no rule that says you can't chain USB hubs off of each other, so just have one unpowered hub, with a couple powered hubs plugged into it to provide power to the devices.

Do you really think it would come down to a power issue? I would think most likely it would be a bandwidth issue with some many peripherals. There are hubs with external power adapters that could probably power everything. Lots of them around in fact.
