I believe it will work, but the multiplier will be locked at 12 no matter what speed P4-M it is....I think it was 12...

yup 12, not sure if it was all, but think the 1.6 and 1.8 were, and those seem to be most popular in the oem buying market of clockers.

They tend to clock pretty well, obviously stick to a 12multi at default 100Mhz fsb, thats 1.2Ghz, so at 2.4Ghz you'll be at 200Mhz, some hit good speeds like 3 Ghz, couple beyond i believe on phase change. TBh they used to be very good when we had no 200Mhz P4C's, but, now we have them, and 2.4C's not too expensive, 2nd hand sub £90, they don't do that much anymore. When people were finding it extremely hard to hit 200Mhz fsb on a 845 chipset with 133Mhz chips, these were great.

Yes it will work, Used to see them all of a few different forums with insane sisoft mem scores, cause of that 12x multiplier a year or more ago. back when the lowest you could get was a 16x on a 1.6a.

But for $60 it would be fun to play with.
