Hi all!

I have been doing some other things than overclocking lately. Me and best overclockers PC shop in Finland launched a series of PC's. All are preoverclocked and all parts are selected to quarantee the best possible quality.

Here is the site with machines, if you are interested:
http://www.jimmspc.fi/hae/SF3D%20OC

I like this picture:
http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00915/4380581.jpg (http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=4380581.jpg)

But, my hobby is Xtreme overcloking. So I had to find some time to do one more session before I will have a nice and peaceful summer holiday.

Recipe for this session is this:

New E8600.. It is like wine, getting better when older.
Rampage Extreme
A-Data D9GTR
Asus GTX 295
Thermaltake TP 1200W x 2

One picture of setup!
http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00676/4380621.jpg (http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=4380621.jpg)

First aircooled fsb test.. this was promising
http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00569/4380624.jpg (http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=4380624.jpg)

Then I tried the same setup on LN2:

1M
http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00208/4380633.jpg (http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=4380633.jpg)

Pifast
http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00699/4380638.jpg (http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=4380638.jpg)

Aquamark: setup did not like this BM at all this time.
http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00609/4380642.jpg (http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=4380642.jpg)

Then 01

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9503701

Well.. there is still some work to do before I am done with these parts.

I hope you liked these!

Yes George, AM3 was a pain in the *** this time. I could not figure out what was wrong.

Main priority was 01, so those others are done in a hurry. This is economy benching with 20L of LN2 :D We should have a new competition about how little LN2 you can consume

Well, this is Finland and I have to live with it

Before I could go to holiday, I just have to satisfy the needs of AMD lovers.

This was a very nice session, cause everything worked very well over 5 hours. It's always amazing to bench Phenom II after some other systems.. just full pot of LN2 and that's it.

I got a new revision of M4A79T-Deluxe (1.02G) Thanks to Jack Chao, whoever you are.

I see less vdroop, lower NB clocks, but performance is good. My CPU is degraded almost 100MHz in these session, so no more high clock fun.

Here is the screens:

Here I am.. I should not be here, but my little girl (2 years) just vanted to play some vantage.

I could not say no

http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00062/4404990.jpg (http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=4404990.jpg)

One reason for this benching is the annoying limit of clockspeed on 4890 cards. Have you guys experienced it, I bet you do

Well, we found the way to go higher and here is the results from this evening

System is basic i7 with aircooling + 4890 on weak single stage (-30c on load)

Here is the full vantage run with 1175MHz on the core and 1225MHz on mem.
http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00538/4405020.jpg (http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=4405020.jpg)

Here is the highest VGA clocks I have ever seen:
http://www.aijaa.com/img/b/00191/4405023.jpg (http://www.aijaa.com/v.php?i=4405023.jpg)

Please, remember that these results are not official yet and that is the reason I can't show full screenshots etc.

We hope, that this little thing will change soon and you all can enjoy the incredible scaling of this GPU.

Gautam
06-23-2009, 03:10 PM
The wall I seem to have myself is core + mem < 2400 at all times, which is incidentally exactly where you're at for that vantage. :p: I couldn't fathom anything like those speeds any warmer than -150 though I confess. :)

And cute kid. :)

Well, we found the way to go higher...
I bet your daughter accidently hit a button and raised the clock 100mhz or so... :D ;) Maybe i should get one of thoose. Daughter i mean. :p:

Nice clocks! Did you have any chance to test with three cards or you only had cooling for one? With aircooling I had to lower GPU-clock ALOT with three cards. For me "alot" is about 100MHz. The motherboard is weak though so I will test with another board later this week.
