I have a PNY 9600gt 512mb GPU and I have been experiencing black screen for quite some time now and I want to finally end it by trying voltage mod. I need to understand the idea first. What is the default voltage for my card:confused:
So the problem is when I use a 3D application like Counter-Strike Source my card will immediately try to use more power and because of OVP my card just shuts down?
I am trying to understand this more, because there are arguements saying it is between OPV or OCP.
The games that black screens really fast (5 minutes) is GTA4 and COD4.
I can play steam based games when I have my aircon on and don't get black screen.
With Aircon:
IDLE - 54c
LOAD - 64-69c
