anyone know where i can get a program to OC my proc with? i can find any that are compatible with this mobo

I've got one of those boards in the closet. Man MSI sucked!!!

You cant clock it up at all in the BIOS???

If you can't change the multi's you may not get far. I have an old A7V (KT133 based) that they put the shottiest clockgenerator on. Has a super hard time running over 110fsb.

I was just looking at the manual for K7T pro 2, (could not find Turbo 2) and if they are similar you do have a multiplier adjustment in the bios under frequency/voltage control. If it's there go on step at a time (starting at 8x) and see what that chip can do. Some of those athlons were good overclockers, i would not be suprised if you can get it up over 1ghz with default voltage.

GJ, the model name is MS-6330

The only thing I can think that would maybe let you overclock is changing the DRAM TIMING in the bois. It might also change the cpu fsb. Even if it doesn't your ram running faster will probably help you.

Some of these were locked on the original bios. have your flashed to the newest??

i have the same motherboard.

take a look at my cpu-z, and saying as i can overclock, the bios... im assuming it would work, as its the same motherboard number.

If everythings locked, just flash to a new bios and you should be set. Just don't mess it up ;P

if you can find my bios... its what came with my board... so i dont know if its downloadable...

you can try increasing the fsb with speedfan sft.

Please open the computer and get the model number and revision number from the motherboard. With those you'll be able to locate the newest proper bios which should make-your-day. MSI should have all the info on flashing it if you haven't done it before.

ok well i cant get it yet cause im at my grandmas house and i have basketball later tonite what sucks is that i might not get it for a week or two
