Even if i will buy a locked Barton ,
What stepping is the best, so it can reach 200 fsb
on the locked 11 multi = so it will bring me 2200 on max @ 1.775 V

Most steppings should allow you to run 200*11. I have an AQXEA which seems to be pretty good, I am at 220*10.5 ATM.
I think you would have a hard time finding a 2500 that could not run stable @ 2200MHz with 1.775v. You would have to have really bad luck not to achieve your goal with a 2500 barton.
More than likely any barton you pickup will be alot newer than mine and a better overclocker.
I'm sure someone will chime in with the desired steppings.

There are plenty 2500's out there that won't do 2200 @ 1.775,trust me..
Well maybe he should start a poll or something to get a feeler for what XP2500+'s are able to achive with stock vcore?

If ya find an AQXEA, those are typically the best. The earlier the stepping the better.
You should be able to hit 2.2ghz on 1.775v, but why that specific target voltage may I ask. Also, are the rails on yer psu solid?
My AQXEA o/cs nicely.

My Barton 3000 runs 200x11 at 1.65 Vcore. It will do 2300 at 1.75V and 2400 at 1.85. The difference now between the 2500 and 3000 is < $75
See sig for stepping

My 2500+ does 200x11.5 (2.3Ghz) at 1.56v and 250x10 (2.5Ghz) at 1.81v. Mind you, I'm using a Prometeia, but it's still quite a good chip. :D

Mine can do a little over 2.3Ghz @ 1.6v. :D (folding/prime95/sandra/3dmark stable)

My AQZEA does 2200mhz (3200+) at stock voltage. Will do 2400mhz at 1.775 (Prime stable).

Mine does, 2.04 Ghz @ 1.85 :'(
I'm going to do the voltage mod to get higher. But I've got a question. Is it possible to glue the wire to the chip instead of soldering? Just asking because I'm a total noob at doing these kinds of mods and I don't want to kill my mobo  .

I don't think glue would work because its not conductive.

But if the wire makes contact it's ok? right?
