Hello Everyone,

I have a really weird issue with my CPU. For some reason, my computer (BIOS also, not just Windows) won't recognize my CPU. I recently reinstalled to Vista X64 from W7 and I have flashed the bios a few times to latest one and to original I had before latest one and it just won't tell me my CPU!

I really would like my computer to tell me what I have. I mean.. I KNOW what I have, but I'd like to be formally introduced to my CPU like I used to be.

CPU-Z recognizes it as Genuine Intel (R) CPU 000 @ 3.20 ghz (ES):

Every response is appreciated! Thank You!

clear cmos, or flash your bios, to last version or same version ( and of course a later version is a posibility ,too)

Flashed the BIOS, no go.

Guess I will just pull the little battery out (as finding the jumper with my setup is a PITA) and just hope this will clear the CMOS and works. Is that safe?

you need erase, the data into bios ram, so you can use the jumpers mobo + pull up the battery and wait a few hours,or if your bios chip is montable, pull up just if you are sure ,that the bios chip is not fixed

Well it worked before, I am sure it must have been a BIOS setting.
