I just want to know how performance improve between Triple and Quad 4890. It only 1~2% improve on 06. For 99% people, they will be disappointed, but for 1% Top 5 overclocker. 1~2% performance is very important.
Here are some pics for sharing.

I just love seeing peple score 3x more than I do
P.S. Do you have results for a setup with same clocks but 3 cards "only"? I'd like to know the exact difference from going 3 -> 4.

Perhaps the flexable extender card may of interfered with some of the performance of the 4th card? I'd sat get a single slot watercooler for the 3rd video card so that you can fit them all on without resorting to an extender and see if that improves any(even if only by 1 or 2%).
Other than that AWESOME!!!

Nice numbers as always andre, keep pushing it
I've buy 4x HD4890 since their launch, but even if I had thinking of it, no riser for me, just a wb :p:
I heard that risers limit performance over a classical PCIe port, can you confirm this ?
Now I need to find a strong D0
Bye

No need for a PCIe riser. They sometimes cause weird problems, that may result in decreasing performance. Just like Jody initially showed to us, you could always remove the heatsink of the third card, replace it with a Thermalright HR03, put the fourth card next to it, and go crazy :D
Of course he did it on Windows 7, they give quite big a boost on 3DMark03

congrats andre! !!!!!!!!!!
but you are getting lazy :D. Just because you score this high on air, doesn't mean you shouldn't be running something better.
with 4 cards, I imagine a 10mhz core clock increase across all cards should give a large boost.. haha.
