im looking at getting one of these

also where can i buy chips with a specfic code?

Here is what I always say...

2.4c = 3.2vdimm available
2.6c = 2.8-2.9vdimm available

The 2.4c has a low multi therefore to run a high FSB 5:4 you are going to need to give the RAM more juice. The 2.6c has a multi just right so if you ran the same speed you would not need to volt mod your motherboard. The drawback is a lower overall bus speed.

If you are going with a board that has those kind of options available, then get the 2.4.

what kind of clock speed should i expect with a 2.4?

is 3.6 with stock volts waay to high?

It's to much to expect..mine does but I'm lucky as hell....290FSB at 3.5ghz with good cooling and just a tad extra voltage is fairly common though

Personally, Id get a 2.4, higher fsb

The SL6Z3 stepping is very good, & if you can get one of those, you have 3.6 ghz on stock vcore

my cpu runs stock voltage you see my pics :) stepping SL6WF FPO#L311A875 malay !!! not bad a all

Sure, ZIpZoomWhatever (googlegear) is shipping them right now........ But the one I got from them really sucks! 260 @ 5:4 is the best it will do. Hell, I've got a closet full of WF's that will smoke it.......
