It's sad that Newegg's price on the 975 is like more than $40 over Ewiz's ($995).
The 950 is not as bad as I thought...
I was going to order two D0 920s and keep the one that overclocks better, but now, would I have a better chance of higher overclock with the 950? The higher multiplier would also be nice.

almost $600 is not bad  the extra multi is nice for cold, but on air or water, it is useless. its the same exact story as the 940, nothing new here.

975 in my cart at ncix. Never been a fan of EE Intels, but this could change things.

A good batch of 920 D0 (or w3520) would still be limited by Vcore/cooling. Not the multi/BCLCK.
My w3520 is doing just fine @4.2GHZ(210x20) 1,23v for 24/7 and i still got plenty to go with 21x. But i can't use 21x because it gets too hot on my air-cooling for 24/7. A 950(23x multi) wouldn't do anything good to my 24/7 setup, unless i improve my cooling dramatically, but could come handy for benching (specially with subzero cooling).

The stock heatsink looks a little better then the one on my 920 and all it cost me was an extra $800 ($1079 at provantage, wish I woulda waited on ewiz, oh well). For this price I was expecting some kinda wood hand crafted velvet cushioned case holding the 975, but nope, just plastic like any other intel cpu

I have a W3520,W3540 and a 920 D0(3845B027), but the ewiz prize is too tempting. I think I will hold off on it though and put my W3540 on water and hope for 4.8 24/7 on water(a man can dream right).

So, you have three i7 PCs, then? Or are they not all being used?

I am still testing them on open "bench" to get the right combo of cpu,mem and board to use as a primary rig. I am also waiting for my RMAed GTs to come back. Its probably gonna be Classi+W3540+Dom GT combo with GTX260 TRI-SLI for my primary on water, BR+920+patriot elipdas as a backup on air with 4870x2+4890 crossfireX and the DFI+W3520+OCZ 1600+8800GT as a 24/7 folding cruncher.Yea I know, I live up to my screen name(tekjunkie):D
