a few weeks ago when i ordered that XE i was scared about the batch ,my supplier told me there might be a new batch like 3850A or 3851A
but now im very happy to know that 975 isnt a 3851A :D

What's bad about the latter batch? Are they bad OCer or something?

I guess you were in big hurry, and hopefully can get better results soon. Many i7 920 D0 and w3520 batches are doing much better than this presumably "good batch" av 975.

I know it is too early to judge this and you need more time to find a better OC, but do you think that Intel's High-end is going to end up as big waste of money (again)?

Ive tested many 920 and the later batch seems to be not so good as early one 3845 or 3846

That's 920, though, and not 975, correct? So, not that I don't trust you, but so that I can get a better understanding of the trend, that earlier batches OC better than latter batches, is that what you are impling?
