I've just put together my new system comprising of an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard and an i7 920 CPU. The system is water cooled and currently the motherboard doesn't have any drives or any other peripherals connected (apart from the Sapphire 4870 X2 GPU ;)). I've ensured that the 24 pin and 8 pin cables are connected from my PSU. The pumps are working fine and the loops have been tested for hours for leaks and possible failure.

When I power it up I get a single beep as expect followed by the splash screen but then nothing. The screen clears and remains blank. If I hit delete or tab nothing happens and the screen still remains blank. If I don't hit any keys it just keeps running with a blank screen. I have tried swapping over the ram and I currently have 2 sticks of Corsair Dominator ram in (TR3X6G1600C8D). I'm at a loss as to what may be wrong. Any ideas what I should try next chaps?

Cheers,

You cleared your BIOS, correct? Do you have another (possibly a legacy PCI) video card to try? It may be video card related problem.

Damn it is video card related. It looks like the block isn't making contact enough or isn't working properly. I'll post in the liquid cooling forum. Thanks.
