My work has 5 computers ranging from 333 MHz-533 MHz, and I'm allowed to install Folding@Home. I told them it wouldn't hog any of their applications. So should I slide the cpu usage percent to the halfway point? (just to make sure it doesn't)

This would be best answered by more experienced than me..but it is my understanding that it would only hurt your folding to do this and that the default settings will not rob you of any cpu power during your work activities as it uses only spare cycles. Am I correct in this guys?
I have had folding running at home and done some pretty heavy computing with no noticeable changes or drain.

By my understanding you should be able to set it for idle ~100% and it will only use what is available. Any time another peice of software goes to take cpu cycles folding will let it.

I do belive that usage bar is for setting it's sensitivity for idle time. Just like Windows constantly using cpu cycles, even when the computer is doing nothing, windows is still using cycles. No matter where you set it, it still won't mess with anything. I've played around with it a little and still could'nt detect any noticeable difference in any of the apps I play around with.

I have F@H installed on all computers at work, it doesn,t effect them at all. Just normal setup don,t have to change a thing. Go ahead and line them up.:D
