Hi all, I've completed my SunTzu (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=222961)build, but after a leak in my W/Cing loop on Friday night (thanks a lot bit:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: 45* fittings ), I tested my board with the LCD poster that comes with my ROG board. Plug in power, hit power switch on PSU, poster starts counting seconds it's had power. After hitting the power switch for the computer, it says "WELCOME" and then "LOCKED" and that's it. I wonder what "LOCKED" means... let's check the manual, oh look, manual doesn't say :banana::banana::banana:. Thanks Asus. My question: Has anyone else had experience with this "LOCKED" post code? Has anyone else had problems with BitsPower fittings leaking from the rotary (where it swivels)?
I'm RMA'ng the board either way, but I'd just like to see what XS says.

Hi,

The manual says you can't populate dimm1 unless there are already 3 sticks in the motherboard.

Either move slots or try 1 stick at a time until it boots. Some claim to be getting bad ram slots, so check each one. Have you reset the cmos and tried again also.

Good Day

Had this on R2E before, isolated it to a single bad DRAM stick.

Any pins on the socket damaged ? did you allow her to completely dry ? Tried with an air cooler ? Tried all dimms seperately ?

Mkay, so I should have mentioned, the rig was up and running on stock air cooler about two months before I did this. primary rams slots were filled with 3x2gb of XMS3, and everything showed up in vista. Now what I havn't done is remove the waterblock and pro and let it dry out. Petra @ his shop suggested taking the proc out and letting everything dry out, which I think I will do tonight.
He also said that BitsPower had fixed the leaking problem with their rotary fittings last year... I'll be bringing them in to his place Wednesday or later on in the week and see what the story is.

My St. John's Pepper and Jack burger was very peppery.

Hi!

HAd anybody problem with the ratio settings before? I set 21x210mhz and in idle the machine behaves perfect, but when i start a task, 4 example 3dmark or prime the ratio set back the machine to 20x210 or 19x210. I have the latest bios, and all the energy saving features az turned off.

Opinion?

Does it also happen if you run a lower Bclock eg 190 just for a try ?
