Don't think so mate, unless they are gonna sell 950 at 920 price. Otherwise they would only have a 500 euro CPU as entry CPU for I7...

why in this forums and other forums, people always put wow, i can run 4GHz and 4.6 GHz on air.
So, i think, i got to get one of those.
I just build a new 920 DO, and with default voltage, i can only get 2.66 GHz to 3.00 GHz. I can push with lots of tweaks and voltage overclock to 3.4 Ghz at 1.425 V.
Why are there no threads of people who got piece of junk by random.
also i bought a samsung monitor with a red dead pixel in the centre.
this is second time i bought samsung and have a red dead pixel in centre. because it is in right slam in center, it is driving me mad.
should i buy another 920? any shop can guarantee good overclocking chips?
i am so unlucky.

No one guarantees an overclock, but just about all 920's get to 3.8-4.2Ghz without much effort. Go over to the Intel forums and post your question there. You should go to the thread about your motherboard and you will find help with your settings that should get you to 200BCLK easily.

No one guarantees an overclock, but just about all 920's get to 3.8-4.2Ghz without much effort. Go over to the Intel forums and post your question there. You should go to the thread about your motherboard and you will find help with your settings that should get you to 200BCLK easily.
i already follow all tips.
found the problem. QPI/Vtt voltage have to raise from default 1.1v to 1.395V, not higher than 1.395V, if not cannot POST.
after that it can go to 4GHz. If i raise the Vcpu to higher than 1.4V to got 4.1GHz, but i think 4GHz is nice and round number. Thanks.

wOW, that classifies holds most of the top records, I think it is a given now, wacky bclocks come from the classified...
