Hey guys,
My GTX280 and I had a disagreement, and now it's missing two resistors .
Does anyone know what size these would have been, or a way to find out.

Let me get back to you, I have my 280 on my desk right now.
EDIT: I am unable to measure any resistance, I guess they might be SMD capacitors.

These are smd ceramic capacitors. Size is hard to tell from the pic. It's either 0603 or 0402. And capactitance, hmm, again hard to tell. I'd guess something in the 10nF range.

Knock one off your other dead card and measure it. What resistance does the circut they're in measure? You might even be able to pencil them to spec.

I'm pretty sure those are caps, and they're 0402 sized. I would guess <= .1 uF, but I don't have a spare card here I really care to rework at the moment. Just measure a resistance between a pin and the other end of the cap. If it's high/infinite, it's a cap.

they're also going to be a biiiietch to rework unless you have experience or good tools. You can do it with a crappy iron and patience, but 0402s aren't fun to deal with on a regular basis. However, you've got a good amount of clearance, so maybe it will be fine for you. I'm used to working with 0402s in really tight quarters, and I hate getting them to sit. If you are incapable of doing this yourself, shoot me a PM. You cover shipping and I'll fix it up and spec out the proper cap for you. I've got nice tools in my lab.
