Everyone know Shamino aka Lardarse aka Lardy aka Peter Tan :D and everyone who knows him - loves him. He has been a great friend to me and many other overclockers for several years. Lardy helps everyone and will go out of his way to give you a hand. Presently Lardy is working for Evga designing motherboards. Lardy's latest creation is the Classified. This is no doubt the best motherboard I ever touched and definitely the best board on the market. The Classified is in the upper price range of motherboards on the market, but it is worth every penny you will spend. Evga has the best support and best bios updates of any of the board makers ATM. Lardy is the main reason for this. Evga is lucky to have him. If your in the market for a motherboard and you want to do some serious overclocking, do yourself a favor and get a EVGA "Classified" Let's all give Peter a big hand  He has done so much for many of you guys out there. thanks Lardy
If EVGA can send me a good video card, I'll work on some 3DMarks :D

A little OT but relevant.
I like most of you have followed Peter's exploits over the years from the first time I heard of him in a video with a cascade that sounded like a F15 blowing thru the sound barrier 4 ft over your head. MAN was it loud!:D
Then I saw him here and although I had many questions I wanted to ask I didn't out of respect for his time.
I found myself with a problem I couldn't figure out and asked him for help but left him an "easy out" in case he was too busy to look into the problem.
What I found was a gentle soul that jumped in to help.
Very refreshing in this day of huge ego's to find a guy like this.
Hopefully one day I'll get to meet him and shake his hand.

I own the 760 Classified and after testing numerous X58 boards, I can say without a doubt that its the best board I've ever owned. I'm able to reach speeds on the Classified that I could only speculate about with other boards. The Classified is the reason I contacted runmc about building a custom single stage for me, it just begs for extreme cooling :)
Thanks for the Classified Peter, keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to your next project.

What kind of score are you looking to get? Mine is so low I think something big must be wrong. :(
Here you go Chris ;) I lost one of my sticks of HyperX a couple of nights ago so I'm running some Corsair at 10-10-10-21 :(

WHat I found Ron is if you jump up too much in BCLK per step the clock that is shown is not always fully engaged. When we ran 06 at 248+ we had a few runs with very low scores. I later found it was cos I was saving profiles and jumping BCLK up too fast. The trickiest thing to pass over 248 or so is all the GPU tests. ALthough you might find it somewhat easier @ CAS 10 with a lower BW GPU.

Here are the bios settings I used to hit 253 bclk. Lardy suggested Setting 2 way / 1 way memory settings may help a bit more on BCL maybe, and looser RTL such as 78/80/82.

i don't know why, but my SM3 scores are horrible. even compared to the other 9800GTs on the Bot. i am obviously missing a tweak or something i guess. any chance the 1GB vMemory hinders SM3 performance?
