Anyone know how many watts of heat the gpu on a 9700 pro puts out??? Thanks in advance, Fuzzy

I estimate around 65~75 watts at stock

not that I question you but how did you estimated that? I'd like to know a formula or have a link to manufacturer's thermal management design requitrements...

65 to 75! thats more than some stock amd xp cpus, and they need full size heatsinks compared to a 9700's which is much smaller. You could be right, as an R300 core is much larger than a cpu core
