How is the eSATA port on the XFX GeForce 9300 mATX motherboard supposed to work?

On my other motherboards, the eSATA port is "hot-pluggable". When I plug an eSATA hard drive into those motherboards' eSATA ports, they're instantly recognized and can be ejected w/ the little green icon in the taskbar.

On this XFX GeForce 9300 mATX motherboard, any hard drive I plug into the eSATA port isn't detected unless / until I reboot the PC after plugging the hard drive in.

Anyone know how to get the eSATA port to be hot-pluggable and work like eSATA ports on other motherboards?

Ok, figured it out. I had the "JMicron 363 ATA Controller" disabled in the BIOS. I thought this was just for the IDE port. Didn't know it controlled the eSATA port too. It doesn't show up in the list of drives / peripherals though when I click on the green eject button in the taskbar. All other drives connected to the internal SATA ports do though.

Strange since this is the eSATA port.

Another weird option in the BIOS is the option to change the amount of memory for the onboard video. It can be set to 256MB or 512MB. I've tried setting it to 512MB before, but it ALWAYS reverts back tow 256MB after a reboot.
