just wanted to show a little W3520 + Classified Action, here are the results so far, more to come!
Evga Classified
Xeon W3520
Kingston 2000MHZ, Cas 8
F1
first just testing 1m on water:

then under LN2 at around -90c 32m (vcore is correct in eleet, not cpuz):

Quick 3D test under LN2 around -90:

The efficiency is pretty bad here, need to spend more time with it and I need to find my balance of volts and colder temps and I think I can squeeze some more out of this little guy but I am happy so far!
Pics of the setup (F1 + Extension Kit + I am still new to LN2 so a little overboard with the shop towel...):

Was at 110 before, bumped to 114 to be able to validate above 246blck but only barely, going up or down in volts and temps does not seem to change things...

well done, I think coretemp bugs at -7 so you might have been lower than that temp-wise if on dice, but none the less, awesome result especially for dice

No doubt the -7C was bogus. Still, the application of the DICE was low tech so I was way off the actual temp of the DICE. Anyone know what that is?

without googling it, somewhere around -75C is where it sublimates, if the pot was really really low tech, you might have been in the -40C range.
With DICE and my F1 I usually idle around -68 to -70 and get temps around -60 loaded.

Nice speed at vantage 240+BCL, have you tried lowering VTT?

I did a little and did not seem to hurt or help blck but do need to revisit it.
Chip is funny, my max validation and max 3D speed are pretty much the same, but just can not seem to do anything higher. I must be doing something wrong setting wise.

sounds like some ram stuff, maybe loosening RTL / chanels alot or using a corsair Dom GT SPD as backup rom may help.

awesome work man, Im getting the same exact wall as you with my 920 d0 on SS around -45 -50. Spent about 8 hours messing with different voltages and other settings with no luck even pci-e up to 117.
I get the feeling its just one small little setting we are overlooking dont you? Do you use extreme cooling jumpers? Regradless great work!

interesting, thanks for the advice. I saw the stuff Ron said you had advised him in his thread and going to try that out next session with this cpu, new toys pur this one on the back burner...

I found that down to lower temps like you said this CPU to be just about as stable with similar volts as in the -100c range.
I do agree with you. I have extreme cooling jumpers set to 2-3 position, I think...
