Hy guys,

After playing a week or so with my Classified on air and SS, today I took out the "big guns", and I put it under LN2. The chip is C0 stepping, because my D0 is at Monstru's house and he won't give it back :D.

This i7 920 C0 chip is a good clocker on air (4450MHz SPI 32M and >4500MHz SPi1M) and on SS it did 4650MHz 3DMark 2006 easily. So, today he saw some LN2 . And my surprise was as big as yours, it surpassed all my expectations.... 5111MHz @ 1.52V @ -75oC. You can see the validation here (http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=561854). I also did a SPI32M @ 4776MHz @ 1.46v (http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=850464).

A little bclock playin': after some voltage & setting tweaking I obtained a bclock of 236Mhz on air (TRUE + Delta 120mm 113CFM). I was satisfied with that for the moment, but a couple of days ago I put the Vapochill LS on the CPU and the bclock scaled with the same settings as before to about 247Mhz. That was whoooooo.....

Today I put LN2 and in the first phase, with the same settings, I obtained exactly the same bclock like on SS. The temperature was about -70C (because the CB was at -75 C). After some more voltage tweaking I obtained was I was looking for... to cross the 250Mhz bclock barrier. And here (http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=561862) you can see the validation. I saw even 252Mhz but the validation fail . Unfortunately I runned out of LN2 before I could tweak some more and aproach 255Mhz.

Nice!

What was your air setup and results if you don't mind? :)

What exactly do you want to know? For air cooling I used TRUE + 113CFM 120mm Delta and the same other components...

Is it an E759 or E760?

It's the E759, the one with the NF200 chip!

just that and temps idle and load with that massive oc!

On air I had a maximum of about 85-90oC. That is the proof once again what a fantastic heatsink the TRUE is :D!

I suppose that you will be running it like that 24/7. XD
I atleast hope so.

excellent 920 especially for a C0! What PCI-E mhz were you running for the 5.1 valid?

@BAMBI: On air I had like 1.55-1.56v, but I tested on Gigabyte EX58-UD4P, not on Classified!

@TheKarmakazi: PCIe was 115Mhz or 118MHz but I don't remember exactly. I tried many settings before I accomplished this. The road from 5Ghz to 5.1Ghz took me aprox. 1h :D!

@Hondacity: CPU VTT voltage was 1.65v and RAM voltage was 1.7v ;)!

Next stop for me is i7 920 D0 or Xeon W3520 :D!
