Afaik, only the OCP modification hasn't been released yet.
I meant OCP mod mainly but when i am tired i don't know what i am writing!!

Did you get a pm for this mod ? Because I'm also looking for this one... I will try somthing in some days / weeks to try to push harder the power supply
Nothing yet.Come on guys....SHARE

For sure some guys know it.....How can they bench with 900+ Mhz core?
BUT as far as I know other guys, like AndreYang, destroy many of these cards( if I remember well 10) to find it....:D

the problem isn't us benchers who won't share it, the problem is volterra and their 'state secrets'. my search for volterra data sheets lasted about 5 seconds until google turned up a news article of a man being in federal prison for sharing their datasheets.

try first to edit with nibitor 5.0

Yeah you cant necessarily blame the people who know it. The datasheet and pin layouts are under NDA so if they made the info public...

What would you suggest looking for?
well, we all would like someone to share, and it would be nice, but as said above, andreyang killed 10 cards trying to figure out the mod, us just "wanting" it is abit unfair. i think the day a stronger card is released this mod will surface.
SF3D got 1000mhz core without a mod. but like the GTX 260'S, some do 850 on LN2 some do 1050 on ln2, batch dependant

with nibitor you can add a voltage table and overvolt the gpu....
more people reach more oc after a voltage (bios) mod

Thx talking to Mavke now about implementing something in nibitor 5.2

SF3D has got the modification as well, I believe. And IIRC, 1G+ without the modification is almost impossible. 950 core is doable.

I may have a 'universal' mod... I will share without problem if it works :yepp:
wow jmax that would be awesome.. thank you

No problem Vivi. If you see Trax and Flytek, say us hello for me :)
The problem is that with nibtor or Voltage Factory etc you can reach a certain point and then the red led of devil says "STOP" (a.k.a. OCP)
It is very frustrating and sometimes i thought of removing it.......Stupid stupid led.
jmax i pray your mod works.I want more.Is that too bad?

I just need someone to make tests... If you want to test it, I'm ok to send you all the information in pm.
But, even if there will be no risk, I can't confirm that it will work...
Send it and i will see.....Waiting for your pm

Hey guys,
we have got a new MSI card runs easyly 960 on core with 1,22V and I think Pro does also not uses OCP Mod for his 980 MHz 01 run I think.
so not all over 900 is modded ;) but I think everything about 1000MHz is OCP modded so far.
I also think that OCP is not the only thing to do an this cards.
They had only 3 Phases per GPU, and 3 Phases is not to much... this is like Overclocking a QX9650 on a BIOSTAR P45 Board with LN2.
So guys, if anybody find a OCP mod, I think more than 1,3V on the Cores destroys the card
OCP is a protection, this protection had the GTX 280 also, but with 5 Phases it is not so easy to come to the spot where the OCP comes

i think one of the swiss guys has an asus card that does over 1GHz with 1.22v with no OCP

i think one of the swiss guys has an asus card that does over 1GHz with 1.22v with no OCP
This card runs only this Clock Speeds in Vantage because Vantage produces nearly 0 load on the GFX.
We testet Besi's card what runs 1050 in Vantage (1,3V) on CeBIT
and Card runs 01/03/05/06 only with 900MHz 1,22V (more brings OCP) and Vantage with 1050 @ 1,3V
We also testet if it is Vista Based or Driver based, but in Vista 01/03/05/06 brings also OCP

Then all you have to do is get hold of a pair of those. I heard that the Head of IT for ICA (a supermarket chain) bought four of them in Sweden... :P

@jmax any findings would be SO appreciated my friend
@kabauterman you are right, for huge core speeds it needs more than just OCP mod. the cards need recap (gives a bit more core mhz) and coils on the 3 phases also (It has nothing to do with inductance though, more related to load tolerance). Slovnaft can explain more, I will point him to this thread.

Sorry to bump this threat but any progress on OCP mod ?
Thank you.

why not just use the available software voltage tuner (though it can't tune memory voltages). Realize this is coming from a guy who has volt-modded every card owned, but the 295 can be done the easy way, software.

do you even understand the meaning of OCP?
its not about higher voltage :)

over current protection? The whole thread is talking about hardware volt mods, so I just mentioned why not use software instead.
ME4ME

the software is just to adjust voltages. People are not talking about some mod that enables higher voltage on this card, but a mod that weakens the over current protection. Its a totally different thing :)

volt-mod is to feed your card with more voltages(V).....volt-mod is known:)
OCP is a mod that let you to increase the current protection, through it :p:(A)...
