First time I tried LN2 with Phenom II X4 955, 6,3GHz Valided! Some 3D benchmark!

Today I tried to OC AMD Phenom II X4 955! Thanks to AMD and Asus for supporting Hardwares! :D

With 6Lit LN2, I couldnot get more better result :shrug: So I will try later to get more better! :D

My system used:


AMD Phenom II X4 955
Mobo Asus M4A79T Deluxe
2x1GB Crucial Ballistix 1600MHz Cas 7 1,9V
Single ATI HD4870X2 sample :eek:
PSU ePower 1200W :D

I used my Benchtable and my Pot, they are not beauty :D

And the result:

My best superPI 1MB is11,94s at 6,174GHz. I think my CPU could pass PI 1MB over 6,2GHz if I had more LN2. PI with 2 core (0 and 1) can get better result! :up:

I don't know why the CPU's score is lower than expect!:down: I think 5875Mhz can get higher than 8700 score.

It's Core VID. CPUz don't show correct Vcore. Core VID 1,475V => Vcore 1,775V :D

CPU must be cooled to get NB clock higher 3.0GHz

At 2,5GHz NB clock, VID NB need at least 1,25V for stability! :D

CPU-Z rejected because not under load. I had the same problem validating my 920 but all it took was to validate while running any sort of stress test or benchmark and it works. I used SuperPI.

Oh! I don't have any CU Pot here! So next time benchmark, I'll use this ALU Pot :D

After Overclocking AMD Phenom II 955 with LN2, I feel it easy to get Freq higher 6GHz for benching, but it's hard to stablility at 4GHz with Vcore 1,55V and water cool. :shakes: I hope the next Desktop CPU AMD can stable over 4GHz :D

It's very easy to stable 3,6GHz with stockfan and stockvolt :rolleyes:
