Hi all, I have recently purchased a Rampage 2 Extreme and was wondering if anyone has successfully ran the DOMINATOR-GT's 2000Mhz (TR3X6G2000C8GTF) kits at their rated speed.

The problem with those sticks is to get a hold of them, very very low on quantity, and high on price.
Moreover, The ability to run them at their speed (and higher speeds using OC) mainly depends on your IMC, in your CPU.

And if you are comfortable running your QPI/Dram (CPU VTT) at 1.6v +, when Intel specify max. of 1.35v. Not heard of any cpu failures from this yet though !

Sure you not speaking of the CL7 kit of the GT 2000, i can find the GT 2000 CL8 kit and 1866 GT7 pretty cheap. I gave same price for the GT 2000 CL8 as i gave for the Dominator 12800 CL8 when they was released.

I just found out that these sticks are going to be a little harder to get my hands on than I first thought.. I have found a few places that will have them in stock over the next few weeks but the price has jumped to a bit over
AU$600. I really wanted the GT's but I am thinking I might have to settle for the Corsair Dominator 3x2GB 1866Mhz (TR3X6G1866C9DF). Has anyone seen any reviews comparing these stick or have any opinions. I just wanted to know if the performance gains were worth spending the extra AU$115 on the GT's..
Thanks guys
